Kitchen Counter Mail & Book Organizer

If you live in a small kitchen like I do, organization is key when setting up your work flow. This simple kitchen counter organizer has been a wonderful place to catch our incoming and outgoing mail but also to store my Family Management Binder and favorite recipe books.

Supplies You’ll Need:

  • 2 magazine holders. I got the two pictured at Target for $4.50 each.
  • 1 wooden ruler. Again, from Target for $0.97.
  • 2 1/2-inch bolts, 2 matching nuts, and 2 matching washers.
  • Power drill

Place the ruler on the back of your magazine holders and space to desired distance apart. Using the existing ruler holes, mark on magazine holders where the ruler holes are.

Using your power drill, drill holes, about the same size as your bolts, in the magazine holders where marked.

Place washer on bolt and bolt ruler to magazine holder, securing with nut. Repeat on other magazine holder.

Now fill space with your own recipe books, mail and other clutter that is in desperate need of organization.
